St Panteleimon Chapel in Summit Argo, Illinois, is a shrine of the Diocese of Chicago and the Midwest, Orthodox Church in America. As a diocesan institution established by our Bishop for the service of the wider Church, the Chapel seeks to foster the Christian life in its fullness, centered around:

• the TRUE FAITH: attested in the Scriptures, taught by the Apostles, and passed down within the Church from generation to generation;
• TRUE WORSHIP in the Orthodox liturgical tradition, and above all, the celebration of the Holy Mysteries;
• TRUE SERVICE, through which we are called to show our love for God, for each other, and for our neighbor.

After almost nine decades as an active parish community, St Panteleimon Chapel is now designated to serve our diocesan family as a place of worship, healing, and education for all those who come to this place seeking spiritual renewal. YOU ARE WELCOME to join us as we seek to pray, learn, and grow together!
